Meets the expectations, but follows a very predictable path. A smooth and pleasant reading experience that makes you want to read the last (6th) part as soon as you finish with Wintertide, but ... I have a guts feeling that in 3 weeks time I won't even remember what was it about.On the pluses side, Sullivan is very consistent - all the Ryiria books maintain a nice, above the average quality. Recommended. 10/19/2011It's bad. I'm going to wait until I have the final book before finishing to see what the ending is. The author's hand is very transparent as events and characters are coerced into doing his bidding. It's unnatural and clumsy.1/11/2012Forcing myself to read it as the final book in the series will be released next Monday. I'm a sucker for promised good endings.1/27/2012Finished the last part in one sitting. Great plot developments at the end. I also have Percepliquis on-hand, so that added to the motivation to finish.
