About book You Have To Stop This. Pseudonymous Bosch (2011)
The ending was both unexpected and predictable at the same time, as contradictory as that may seem. I had always known that the secret wouldn't be directly stated, and that it would leave us some sort of cliff hanger at the end. But I was pleasantly surprised at the way that this was carried out, especially how Max-Ernest was revealed to be supposedly the author of the series. I was sad at the end, because I really want to know what happens next! Have you ever noticed that people look at what the title of the book is first, and then begin read the blurb if it is interesting? In this book by Pseudonymous Bosch, just by judging the book by its title may interest you the most. You Have to Stop This. This is the continuing sequel to the Secret Series, the last and final book. It is about a girl named Cass, who looks to find the secret that is in her family, with the help of two of her friends, against the Lord Pharaoh, who is trying to learn the secret as well. When entering the museum during a class trip, Cass accidentally breaks one of the fingers off of the priceless mummy, the ancient doctor in Ancient Egypt. Then, the mummy, out of know ware disappears, and Cass and her friends are blamed once again for the crime. Accidentally landing in a moving crate, Cass and her friends travel to Las Vegas, go on the adventure to defeat the Pharaoh once and for all, and find out the hidden secret that has been waiting for generations from the mummy. Read this book to find out if Cass succeeds and what the lurking secret is….This book did not let me stop until I completed the whole book and learned what the secret was. Turns out that Cass was shocked and I was even more when reading the book. This book led me to think about different perspectives of the characters in the story as well as their personal thoughts. I would recommend this book to people who are patient enough, because there are many places where the author stalls about the suspense that is suppose to be occurring. This book is one of my favorite books that really build the reader up and create the sense that you have to finish that book and learn the hidden secret!
