About book Where's My T-R-U-C-K? (2011)

Another in the Realistic-"What if" genre. Ages I'd read this for would be 3yrs. to Kindergarten. This is the story of Tommy and his beloved red truck. But, where is Tommy's red truck? No one can find it and Tommy is absolutely distraught! Rhyming, clever, funny, text and vibrant illustrations make this book a pure delight to read out loud or by yourself! You go on an emotional journey with Tommy as he tries to find his red truck. I felt so sad at the beginning of the this book and so elated at the end when the red truck is found. Poetry, emotions, spelling, and story development (e.g. beginning, middle, end) are all lessons that could be talked about with this book. David Catrow is the illustrator for this book and he is wonderful. Theres is so much detail, movement, and emotion on each of the pages. The pictures of this book tell the story as much as the words, they really compliment each other perfectly. Cute premise. Every parent has been there. Your child wants their favorite toy and nothing else will make them happy. Even spelling doesn't work because they've figured that out too. Join the search that we have all been on many times. Kids will relate well to it because they have been there too. Good book to read if you are in the middle of that situation because it does have a happy ending.

Adorable book for that kid stuck on that one little car/truck/fire-truck engine, etc.

Not quite as awesome as "I Ain't Gonna Paint No More" but still pretty fun!

Story's ok - in rhythm. Not a big fan of illustration style.

Fun, fun illustrations (David Catrow) and text!
