Karen was set to leave to town to get her master where Paul was a single parent to a pre-teen daughter and also was a cop. So for the two of them being in a relationship was way out of question.But the two characters just collided. What more to say about that, where she was a sassy girl Paul was all manly. And running into each others couldn't avoid the inevitable. The heat, the tension just kept building up til the day, yes, she was the one who gave the proposition.As any romance story, this one was romance and also plot adding with enjoyable characters that make you want to read the next one. But as for me, I will start with the first and continue the order of this series. Karen and Paul's story is wonderful. These two just can't make up their minds as to if they should have a relationship and if so what kind. Karen's first impression of Paul is that he is rude. Paul on the other hand thinks she's hot, but because of his past believes they can't have a relationship. These two become friends and confidantes while trying to ignore the explosive chemistry between them. This story just made me want to know how they overcome obstacles and get their happily ever after.
