So und hier hätten wir nun die erste Kurzgeschichte, die ich einfach in einem Ruck durchlesen musste. Alec und Magnus, mein liebstes Pärchen aus der dazugehörigen Reihe! Und dazu der Witz und Charme der vielen anderen Figuren und schließlich das Geschenk, welches so nichtig zu sein scheint und eigentlich so viel für Alec bedeuten wird, wenn er es irgendwann rausbekommt. Ich will die Reihe gerade erneut lesen und darin versinken! OMG, I just can't. I just can't, okay?I mean, how can you possibly talk about this novella in a calm and rational way without going all crazy and fangirling and OMG it was perfect!!!I really should come down, but I can't, so let's not bother with it anymore.MALEC. They are perfect. Just incredibly perfect. I seriously don't know how else to say it. Is there another way to say it? I don't think so.Magnus is always awesome and sweet and when he thinks about Alec... he makes me want to giggle and smile and melt and be happy! He worries about him and appreciates him because he's different from all the other Shadowhunters he's ever encountered. It was so incredible to see Alec through Magnus' eyes and now I'm craving for more, so much more!When Magnus kisses Alec next to Taki's... I loved it so much I don't have words to even begin to describe what I felt in that moment! Alex had used himself as a shield to protect Magnus, a simple gesture to show that he cared about him and he was kind of taking care of him and Magnus was moved and I was moved with him!Then there's Izzy. I didn't like her very much in the first three books but with CoFA and now this I'm starting to like her more and more! She's strong and independent and confident but she loves her brother and accepts him and his relationship, no matter what. Her conversation with Magnus made me laugh so much because they are similar in a way, both sure of themselves, not wanting to show their game before the other one does but when it comes to their loved ones...Last scene. Wow. Alec calls Magnus and he thinks he's probably busy for him because he doesn't value himself too much though Magnus tries to prove him otherwise and then Alec tells him he's actually at his door and Magnus welcomes him in possibly the most welcoming way possible! *sighs*I really wanted to cry there, it was fantastic and Magnus and Alec are perfect and I know I'm saying the same things over and over again but in my mind there's only MALEC and I really need badly another hot scene with both of them because well, they're so sexy.
