Thought this series had some potential but after reading three of them I realized they are very shallow books with emphasis on superficial nonsense. The authors take on werewolves leaves them more human and insecure than I can really handle or enjoy. I definitely prefer were-rom to be more about strong heros or heroines who know and recognize their otherness way more. This all just left me really bored. Although much the same as the other four in the series, I did enjoy it! These chick flick books with a hint of paranormal are my guilty pleasure even when I can easily predict the ending. The beginning was intriguing, the middle slightly boring but the end held a little surprise by upping the pace. I felt like Jake's character needed a bit more back story or information on his beliefs to make the decisions he made more concrete and real, this is not to say I didn't love Jake however! I absolutely did! Overall a good summer read to giggle and sigh to :)
Just okay. It was pleasant enough and mostly a nice light read, and the hero was hot.
