This is the first book in a new series connected to Sea Haven called Sisters of the Heart. This story focuses on Rikki, an autistic sea urchin diver. She is out on her boat fishing when a huge wave comes at her. She sees a man underwater and rescues him. He does not remember who he is. But they made a connection when they were under the water. Rikki lets him into her life. He cannot understand why he is feeling the way he does about her. He does not have emotions. Who is he and will they be together? I have been a fan of Christine Feehan for a number of years and I really liked the 7 Sea Haven novels about the Drake sisters. I had no idea that there were 3 more set in the same town, with the Drakes in the backround. In the first of these 3, Rikki lives on a 300 acre compound that she shares with her 5 sisters. Except that they arent sisters by blood but rather by love and by soul. They too, are gifted as the Drakes are and Rikki herself is a water element - drawn to all sources of water as it is drawn to her. She is also what her sisters believe a very high functioning autistic. She tends her 5 acres of the property very carefully and has many security measures and habits that she believes (very strongly) keep her and her sisters safe. Rikki is a sea urchin diver and its during one of these dives that a yacht explodes and she rescues a very badly hurt amnesiac probable assassin. What happens from here, you have to read and find out yourself. But I know that if you liked the Drake Sisters series, you will like the first of the 3 Sea Haven ones!
