Whoa! Let me tell you -- this book has more drama than a Lifetime movie. Our story centers around Cuba, the man-whore we met in book1, and Dovey an aspiring ballerina. Dovey is a broken, broken girl, but she never gives up hope. Her strength, fortitude and never die attitude really got to me. There were times I wanted to hug her, help her, cheer for her and I must admit, smack her too. I wanted her to achieve everything she wanted. And then there's Cuba, we learn A LOT about him in this book. We find out that there is a lot more to Cuba then serial sexcapades AND we find out what's behind these behaviors. These are some seriously broken kids, but together, perhaps, they can become whole. Another great BA love story. Probably one of the most frustrating books I’ve ever read. I will give the author credit though, Dovey is one heck of a heroine. Her strength is admirable but the fact that you spend the bulk of the book hating on Cuba for not getting his act together just gets old. I’m all for sex and danger and drama but halfway through and he’s still pushing her away all the while she’s pining after him…and lets be honest…she is.And Sebastian…his story is what I’m really ready to read so kudos to the author because what started with one book had now led to two more that I want to read.
