Another great Hidaka series, this one features a totally scatterbrained heroine who works in a bridal dress-making shop called Velvet Blue Rose (Hence the title) with two very hot guys! :D The story is excellent and the characters are good. I like watching Arisaka and Ageha's hesitant attempts at romance. Also, characters from "I Hate You More Than Anyone" make guest appearances, which makes me very happy! ^_^ V.B. Rose when I first picked it up I put it back down almost instantly. But last July I grabbed it again and my friend gave me a weird look. Its usually not the kind of stuff I read but I really did like this manga. Its was really funny and very enjoyable. He characters just seem to come to life in this series. This is the first title I have read by Banri Hidaka and I'm going to look into her others. I showed a few of my friends this series and they all loved it. The characters are really enjoyable and the story line is pretty good. Ageha is so I guess outgoing and brave and she always seems to be in trouble. The style and expressions that Banri Hidaka's characters make are enjoyable. She's definetly one of my favorite.
I love the way Ageha make the bag and create things her way. Very original. Love the design.
