This is a strange book in many ways but I also kinds like some of the weird stuff that happens. What I don't like, that she is being followed by a guy on a bike....who uses a bike to chase someone? idk....it just doesn't scream I'm evil watch out for me.If Luke is a good guy...why did he take hers memories about her ex away? Now she doesn't know who Tom is and doesn't think she has ever been in love....it's odd. To me, messing with someones memories, even if you think your helping, without their consent to do so is just wrong. This book left a lot unfinished...so I will be reading the next one Meh.I think some of my lackluster feelings about this novel come from the usual British vocabulary that I'm just not used to and that is no one's fault really. The difference of words used and spelling between Kiera's norm and my brain made me hitch a little while reading but obviously I don't expect the whole world to conform to my brain so I'm sure that if it wasn't for that I would like the book better.I like Kiera's character a lot. She's smart and she's resourceful, and she has a big secret about herself that even she doesn't know. This leaves me with the feeling of wanting to know her better. I feel like I need to know what she's hiding. There's not really a whole lot that I can say about the other characters without giving them away. There really wasn't any secondary character that I absolutely adored or anything, which I guess is strange. I did kinda like the old lady at the Inn, she was pretty interesting. The plot was different, definitely nothing like I've read before. I'm not really sure where it's going from here, I feel like it was really left open for basically anything to happen at this point. Probably my least favorite thing is that there wasn't an ending. Like she said a sentence, I turned the page wanting to see what else was happening and BAM! adds for more books by the author. It really didn't end... there wasn't even really a semblance of closure. However I'm intrigued enough by the plot to continue reading them, hopefully that will help with my closure issue.
