A book that starts off on the right step, but then looses balances and pacing as you go along. Near the finish, you feel like you and you partner (the book) are not quite waltzing to the same tune.I liked the premise of the story, but the main character would mention another character and you would have no idea whom she was talking about. It wasn't until a couple of chapters or pages later that you would find out the background of the second character.About halfway through the book, I really lost interest and started skimming to get to the end. I had committed enough that I needed to see the story through to the end, but I didn't care at that point. Kelly Wilder Madison finds that she has walked into Canterbury Ballroom in Charlotte, North Carolina, when she meant to walk into the grocery store next door. At fifty-two, she has recently lost her older husband and has no idea what the next step in her life should be. Kelly never thought of making that next step dancing, but she’s also never believed in accidents. So when she is offered a free introductory lesson, she takes it.
