I've always been a big fan of the Betsy series, but I feel that the story lines are getting a little too flaky. I enjoyed the book, but spent a lot of the time wondering what was going on - not always in the fun way, either. Betsy is getting much more scattered (who could have thought that possible! ) than ever and becoming much harder to feel for with all her whining. Just because she's aware of this fault, doesn't make her more agreeable. The story (what little there is) jumps around and doesn't draw you in as tightly as the other books do. It gives me the opinion that MJ is just milking the series because it is so popular. If there are more books in the series, I don't know that I want to read them. The 13th book which I think is the most complicated. The humor is there, but the whole Hell thing just went on and on, and I admit I skimmed a lot. I am hoping the next one will be less complicated and just as funny. Still love Sinclair, but the whole baby twin thing also too complicated. Cannot be read without reading the others or you will REALLY be confused. There were footnotes to tell you what book some of the stories came from, that is how complicated it is!!
Do You like book Undead And Unwary (2014)?
Not as bad as the last few, but no where near the fun of the first few.

Good, fun read. Nothing mind blowing, but enjoyable.
