I have to say how disappointed I was reading this book. I had previously read another full length book by Ms. Bazile and I absolutely loved it, but this short story, well, I've seen better writing by 3rd graders. There was a grammatical mistake in every other sentence, and because of that, I had trouble getting into the flow of the story because I was constantly adjusting a tense or a lack of punctuation, or even extra words that just didn't belong.That being said, the story itself was ok. The plot is about Kerri, hooking up with the lead singer of a band when he spots her sitting in the front row of his concert playing with her cell phone and not paying attention to the band in the least. As the concert ends, Brayden, the lead singer has his bodyguard go and collect Kerri so she can join him in an after concert dinner. Kerri is instantly attracted to Brayden and accepts his dinner proposal. One thing leads to another and they wind up spending the night together. Brayden's drummer Chase also has eyes for Kerri. After Kerri's first official night with Brayden goes off perfectly, Chase starts to get more flirty with his behavior. Brayden asks Chase to back off, but when he leaves to take a phone call, Kerri asks what's going on. Chase says that he and Brayden have been best friends forever and share everything, even women. Would Kerry be open to that kind of a relationship. Considering Kerri is also attracted to Chase, she has no problem with that.Because this was such a short story, character development was not as in depth as other short stories that I have previously read. The story in general reminded me too much of the Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks and the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens.The only redeeming quality of this book was that the erotic scenes were very, very well thought out and written. I'm hoping that other books by Ms. Bazile are more on the level of her first book "Deceitfully Yours", which I loved. This book has it all...rock stars....sex.....love.....ménage.....better hold onto ladies. This book is steamy and HOT !!!!At a concert Kerri isn't really paying attention. Her best friend drug her to the concert and Keri is more concerned about playing on her phone than listening to the scores of women yelling. It's not until the last song that Kerri looks up and sees what she has been missing the whole time. Hot sex on a stick rock God that is looking right into her eyes as he sings the last song of the night.Brayden, lead singer of UnBurdened cant understand why a woman would come to a rock concert and play on her phone rather than paying attention to what is going own around her. Mainly him. After the show he sends a security guard to get her back stage. She has him intrigued. Kerri doesn't want to go. She knows he is trouble with a capital T but she lets her friend talk her into accepting the request. Chase, lead guitarist and best friend of Braden share everything together...even women. Wen Brayden denies him a chance to share Kerri he doesn't understand. It causes discord between the two friends. Can Chase convince Brayden and Kerri to give them a shot so they can be "UnBurdened" ?
