Realmente, este livro lê-se de uma assentada, a sua leitura é bastante fácil e compulsiva.Pela sua sinopse, pensei que fosse bem mais divertido. Tem partes cómicas, sim, mas esperava outra coisa! Houve alturas em que fiquei irritada com o desenvolvimento da história, por ver tanta hesitação em resolver o assunto. No entanto, compreendo que, se não fosse assim, nem haveria muito para dizer!As personagens são bastante reais, parecem mesmo colegas/amigos que todos nós temos, uma realidade muito actual.Acho a Rachel demasiado apaixonada, tanto que se torna cega pelo amor. E achei a personagem da criança de 8 anos um tanto irreal, por vezes demasiado adulta e perspicaz para a idade.De todas, preferi a Terri e, sem dúvida alguma, o cómico chef Justin.Todo o enredo está muito bem construído. Há aquele suspense constante que nos leva a continuar a ler sem parar.No entanto, houve algo que não me cativou totalmente. Penso que preferia ter visto esta história num filme de domingo à tarde do que ter lido em livro! Something from Tiffany’s was the best book I have ever read. I never wanted to put this book down and I have read it multiple times. This book was very relatable to girls because it was about jewels and diamonds and it was very girly. This book took place in New York City which is an amazing city that people want to go to, to shop. This book reminded me of a movie called The Parent Trap because the two girls get switched it the movie and in the book the gifts from Tiffany’s get switched. I loved all of the imagery this book had “Daisy was immediatly captivated by the vast, high-ceilinged sales floor and its column-free design, and she gazed in amazement at the long rows of glass fronted cases, their precious wares twinkling alluringly under the spotlights” (Hill 3).I also loved all of the emotion in the book. “Ethan was so angry he thought he might burst” (273). I loved all of the different characters in it like Daisy, Ethan,Gary, Vanessa, and Rachel.They each were so different and I could relate to every one. This book was amazing and I never knew what was going to happen which is why I could never put the book down.
