IF YOU HAVENT READ A SUSAN MALLERY BOOK, THIS IS THE SERIES TO START WITH.TRUTH!I KNEW this book would get to me! GAWD, it was good!I REALLY love Pia! Have from the beginning. I may have cried happy tears more than I laughed thru this one. Ive had a lot of fun reading this series so far. I like that it has distinct separations every 3 books so you can take a break if you want or keep going. I was going to take a break, but something tells me Dakota's story is gonna wrench my heart in two so I'd better get it over with! LOL Festival planner Pia O'Brien finds herself with a bequest from her deceased friend Crystal of three frozen embryos. Former Dallas Cowboys QB Raoul Moreno (from The Bakery Sisters series), who owns a kids camp in Fools Gold and had been with Crystal's husband when he died in Iraq, finds himself in the midst of things when Pia has a panic attack during a meeting between the two of them. He's been burned by his ex-wife and has no intention of falling in love ever again. Pia and Raoul become friends and Raoul becomes Pia's 'pregnancy buddy' once she decides to implant the embryos.Pia was completely believable in her decision-making process, from the upset state of her emotions to her inability to relate to her pregnant state. I loved Raoul's character in the Bakery Sisters and it was nice to read about what had happened in his life. HEA ending, but the end -- while predictable -- still had me teary-eyed. Nice job, Susan Mallery!
