Could I love this series any more?? Each book gets better and better, and my heart alternately melts and gets ripped up. I loved Kade, then hated him, then loved him again. And Blane....I was rooting for Kade, then Blane stepped up his game and I loved him again. Kathleen is someone I am rooting for as I see her grow as a person. She can stand on her own, but is still vulnerable. No matter what is thrown at her, she keeps going - definitely someone I can admire and relate to. I have absolutely no idea what will happen in these books, I think I know what is coming, but I am always surprised - which I love. There were some major heartbreaking scenes and a (sort of) cliffhanger. Luckily, I have the next book.... It's brilliantly written - a mixture of action, romance and heartbreak. I didnt think that Kathleen and Blane would split up even though I secretly hoped so. Yet I didn't envision him accusing her for cheating with Kade. In regard with all what happened and how Blane behaved toward her, I think that Kathleen is better without him and she would have better luck with Kade whose character develops nicely.
