This was a precious romantic read. Victor is too dreamy; he was patient, loving and a saint for putting up with that Mother of his, OMG. Ellie needed the love and loyalty she found with Victor, and I am so happy that she got her HEA. I really loved that this book was a stand alone, meaning that I didn't have to wait for any additional series to get the entire story of Victor and Ellie; although, it would be fun to see what happens to Gavin, Alex and Jordan in the future. What do you say Alice? Anyway, thanks for an enjoyable read. A good story with a good plot. I really like when a guy is involved in a relationship and does his best to make it work, this is what Victor does. I really hate his mother and the way she tries to break them apart. I think it is fate the way they get together. It is never late to leave an abusive relationship and there are men who are worth the shot, like Victor. He's nothing like her ex and he proves it through the book. I enjoy the reading
