I gave book 1 of this series 3 stars because Karissa bugged me in that book. But the author hit a home run on book 2, and she blew away my expectations. Warning this isn't a fuzzy happy read, but it's raw and its really good. I felt Naz's darkness sometimes and it cheeped me out! But I didn't want to put it down and found myself re-reading chapters! If you weren't a big fan of book 1, then NO WORRIES, book 2 will blow you away. It could have had more Epilogue at the end, but I respect the author for ending it the way she wanted to. I loved Karissa and Naz falling back in loveNaz knew he was a bad guy, he warned Karissa more than once. Karissa knew who Naz was, but she loved him anyways. It was interesting to read about their relationship. It wasn't a normal, it was intense, sad, happy, and angsty all mixed together!It was neat to hear about Naz's past with his wife, his parents, and his father in law. at times I got a little irritated with the book.but it was an pretty interesting. Especially towards the end.

Totally mind blowing. Once you start reading you can't stop. A bit sad on how it end though.
