I previously read The Opposite Of Me by Sarah and couldn't put it down. So I looked her up on Good Reads and learned she has numerous books. I got this one, figuring it would be just as interesting and would let me escape into a new glimpse of New York. I personally love how she continues to use Gloss and I love how she builds each character. I adored Abby, Cate was interesting and yet confusing and I felt a connection with Renee. All that being said, I could find myself to give this book more than three stars. Overall it was a good book. Sarah writes as if she is talking with you about these people. I love how easily you can just see everything unfolding. I did however dislike the jumping around for story to story. I also thought the ending was a let down. I felt as if a lot was left unsaid (in those case unwritten) between the characters. Being that this isn't a series (unless it is and I'm just not finding the next book) I feel like a lot was unfinished. But I did really enjoy it. Just not as much as The Opposite Of Me. Cate is struggling with her first magazine edition as featured editor while Renee trying hard to loose weight so she would be chosen as the new beauty editor. And there's Trey the prince charming,literally. Add in Abby, Trey's sister who messed up in her job as a nanny by sleeping with the dad. Three of the girls are roommates. The story is kinda stereotype but what keep me reading is that i want to know what will happen to these girls. It's a easy read & the plot did not change too much from what i was expecting. Still, it's a good read.Been looking for this book for a long time but BBW offer a good price. XD
