Rated and reviewed by Dylan, age 7:This book is about three cats that play jokes. They talk to you like funny words like "throw me some yarn" "oof. Ha ha." My favorite parts were the yarn where a little cat says throw me some and then you turn something and he says oof and where you open up the boxes and they say stuff to you and there was another favorite part where one of the cats says pillow fight and the yellow and the red cats hit him with their pillow. I really like this book. Super fun giggly book that got my 4 yr old daughter completely involved in listening - reacting (w/ a tiny bit of tense delight) - answering - and turning the pages (forwards & backwards) almost as fast as I could read them. *You'll understand* My Daughter and I also loved the illustrations (Mostly done in primary colors) - lift-the-flap pages - and layout as well. A couple of the pages would make us just giggle before even reading a word on the page.This is currently one of her new favorites - definitely a "must-read" for young kitty lovers!p.s. It has also been a great just-before-bed book. :o)
Very cute and great for storytime. The cats interact with the readers/listeners.
