I loved this series...I was hanging off my seat waiting for the next event that took place. I am a big fan of the vampire - love stories. I couldn't put them down. My only down fall was that they ended a little short. I wanted to know about Sarah's real mom, Nelly and why she never came to tell her the truth. What happens when Micheal comes back, What happened to Alex? There are so many things that i wish were included in the story but other than that, I loved the series and plan on reading it again in the near future! 2.5 stars?Interesting enough start to a series, although it is both super short and felt like it may have been the first book of the author (was it?)--short on cohesion. Basically Sarah is the last in her line to hold a magical protection field for vampires out in her meadow. Sarah runs an Inn that she took over for her dad when he passed away 6 months ago. She doesn't have any idea about vampires, or her legacy and doesn't believe in it even after she is given a family journal with details. She comes around.Vampires come to her place for asylum, they want to lay down and take a long nap for awhile and they are safe there. However, it's also been used for the past 50+ years as a prison for one vamp named Michael. Michael is hot. Sarah and him have an instant connection. There is also Alex, a dude who shows up randomly telling Sarah he has a message from her mom, a mom Sarah thought was dead for the past 15-ish years. Drama then unfolds.
Do You like book The Vampire's Warden (2011)?
The concept was cool, but I had a hard time staying interested in the story. It was a bit boring.
