I don't know what happened here, after the first book I thought, ok...decent, let's see what happens in #2. Uhhh...It kind of went downhill for me, starting with the unexpected hook up and almost killing of the heroine and a dude from the first book (trying to not give anything away). It felt so out of the blue to me I actually flipped back to the description on my kindle to make SURE I didn't actually download book #3 or something. It just felt like this book was missing big chunks and that was very frustrating. Don't think I will continue on with the series. Alex is now a vampire and Sarah hasn't seen him since. Katie is still scared and is planning on going back to school leaving her with Nelly and Michael. Michael and Sarah have an attraction but she doesn't believe that is ever going to move forward. Then Alex comes to her and he also drinks her blood. This makes Michael very angry and he saves her when Alex almost drains her dry. The Alex reappears but with Katie under his spell. This book continues to keep my attention and I wished that the story was longer.
