About book The Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club (2012)
Okay so this book was good....I didn't say I loved it or even liked it..because I didn't. I said it was good. So I'm gonna try my best to try to over Shadow the bad with all the good aspects of the story, so let's start I shall good shall we? so I liked the writing style, I've always loved have long the girls and the guys side of the story....I like knowing what they were thinking and why they thought and did what they did,so that earned it at least one star in my opinion. Next,this book had some emotion....but not to much, I was crying(like a big fat baby)at least twice during this book, and laughing five times that amount, So there's another star....but I just hope it's enough..... Okay so now with the bad, The characters were shallow, the plot and the book itself lacked detail...yeah I got it, Zack's hot but how about every thing else? I for felt that thy could have described their characters a bit better, I wanted to know more about Zack and Chloe and even the other less important characters. And the be gaining middle and ending were cliche(but what books aren't a bit cliché?) I mean sometimes a nice cliché ending is good,but I knew what was going ton happen from then first page...or line. This is a comfort book, you might read this if you're looking for something a bit romantic, heart warming, but no real worries because the ending is obvious. I would say more to dis this book but I can't without giving away some stuff not that it would matter seeing as though its so predictable. But from what I've said so far , remembered this I'd my opinion, other are plenty of people who probably love stuff like this. I give this book 3/5 stars because I don't think the writing quality was up to par, or at least to my reading level. I wish the book had been longer since it left quite a few question unanswered. For example, what happened between Lena and Chloe? Did Chloe ever forgive her? And what about her and Zack? Do their parents find out? And if they do, then what? I just... I needed more from this book. Plus, sometimes I felt like the scenes in the book were rushed and didn't get to develop fully. I wish there had been more chapters from Zack's perspective, or at least that the book could've switched point of views each chapter. Despite my issues with the book, I liked the plot and I liked how the ending turned out. I only wish that the book was longer and more thought out.
