Super cute Historical English romance about a silly kind hearted young woman and a staid quietly strong titled gentleman. They are the best 'catches' of the season so of course they are thrown together quite often, but even before being formally introduced they have an awkwardly romantic first meeting (and first lust) moment which made the story original for my jaded Historical romance reading self.Lady Angeline and Lord Edward Ailsbury, the new Earl of Heyward are a good match because they are opposites with lots of chemistry. I like that there is no pregnant shotgun wedding and it fact it does take them a very long time to have children which seems much more common then the stupid pregnant after one sexy experience trope that is over used in this genre.The back and forth development of their romance was like a rollercoaster, but was smoothly plotted and planned out because it was never repetitive and made all too much sense when they finally get their HEA.417 pages and borrowed from the library3 stars This book was ok. She is silly, he's a dry stick...the truth I don't see the chemistry. And the characters themselves were just ok. I find it interesting that found myself caring more about what happens to Eunice than Angeline, and judging from the comments in not alone.she was a great character. Different and fresh. You could see even though she is serious there is great passion beneath the surface. She deserves her own book.

Eh. It wasn't terrible. I liked Windrow and Eunice. Glad it was only a library book, though.
