I must say, this short story gave just enough information to peak my interest in what happens throughout the rest of the series. The intensity was there and the story was short enough to hold the intensity throughout. I had a few issues with the grammar at times, but it was only minor, although the main character did seem a tad bit unfeeling, particularly nearing the end. However, The Raid has definitely grabbed my interest enough to make me want to read the first book in the series and see what happens. not sure what to think of this series changing. I am a huge fan of the eden stories and i loved the name the fallen, the bane sounds too technical and unemotional. where is the fallen gives the name some humanity even though they are machines they use to be human. I am still not sure whether i will read the bane or not although keary suggests that to understand the long awaited sequel, for me personally I loved Eden I don't think it should have been changed but I guess I will have to see what the next installment brings.
