About book The Naughty Boy (2013)

Ah, a lovely slice of Brin. I loved this little quickie; we get a taste of our favorite Brat with a heart. Helping out the quiet Lane get ready for his first date with Derek (featured in book 1) and we get a bit more behind the scenes this time, and with Brin we also get a laugh or two. I love Brin and Ferg, and was surprised to realize that Brin is older than I’d imagined in the first book. We don’t get his (or Fergs) age, but we do get a hint of what it isn’t… Lovely book, lovely series-hoping for more about our favorite boys and the Doms that love ‘em!And by the way-GORGEOUS cover!! Oh, I’m SO glad I found this! I had no idea this story existed until yesterday, as I shop mostly on Amazon & this is only available on Loose-Id. After reading “The Good Boy” (which I loved, though I never got around to actually reviewing) I was hoping for something like this. I so loved Brin: I mean really, what an adorable character, every loud, flashy, hilariously outrageous inch of him! Yet I also sensed there was more to Brin & more to his & Ferg’s relationship than glitz, brattiness & spankings, & longed to see those aspects explored. But then the sequel to “The Good Boy”, “The Boy Who Belonged” (loved that one too), came out in January, so I went on to read that, figuring the moment had passed for a look at Brin & Ferg. I was, therefore, thrilled when I happened to stumble onto “Naughty Boy” yesterday while browsing on Goodreads! After quickly jogging over to Loose-Id to snap it up, I read it last night. This little story was perfect, everything I was hoping for! This is a follow-up to “The Good Boy”, book 1.5 in the series, though it actually takes place within the timeline of “The Good Boy”. It was perfect, a short, sweet read that offers a little peek behind the curtains at the show, so to speak, giving us more insight into the awesomeness that is Brin, and also into Brin & Ferg’s relationship. We get to see a vulnerable side of the irrepressible Brin as he deals with some surprising self-doubt & the touching interaction between he & Ferg later which provides resolution. This is so great & anyone who likes this series & likes Brin & Ferg shouldn’t miss it.

Do You like book The Naughty Boy (2013)?

A good short story addendum to The Good Boy by Lisa Henry about one of the supporting characters.

Brin is awesome...I wish the novella was longer and focused more on Brin & Ferg, though.
