About book The Long-Distance Dispatch Between Lydia Goldblatt And Julie Graham-Chang (2011)
This is a very light read that is very funny and has lots of pictures. This is very good reading material if you want something humorous and similar to a graphic novel. It is about two best friends have to be separated for six months because on of the friends has to go to England. The girls are in sixth grade, and it highlights the conflicts many sixth graders feel! I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who feels like a laugh! Julie and Lydia are best Friend but Lydia has to go to London because her mom was sent there for a project. Julie was sad to see her go but they promise that they will chat online. After Lydia gone, When school was started, Julie made new friends and they are called the bichons (a very popular group). And Lydia made not so popular group. They chat online almost every day and talk about everything that is happening to them. Julie try out for hockey but she didn't make the team. Lydia try out for the play and she got in as queen of the fairies. Later Julie got an exciting news that she will be visiting Lydia in London for a few weeks for summer break. Lydia got very excited but now Julie I getting Lydia's nerve because she think hat Julie is telling her friends what to do and what's not to do. But when Julie going back home Lydia does feel ad about it. When Julie got home and start going to school again, the bichons always telling how cute she is, so she want them to give her a makeover so she can look better. But in the end julie thought that the clothes was stealing so she the it very much. She decided to ask Lydia's sister, Melody, about how to make someone not like you any more because Melody hate the bichons and she called them jerks. So Julie decided to tell the bichons that she doesn't like them anymore. The bichons got angry and started to ignores Julie but she didn't care. When Lydia go home every thing was back to normal (i guess)
