I normally don’t like old western Romances, with salons, town sheriff’s, and lady’s with big fluffy dresses. This book on the other hand just sucked me right in to the story line. This book was a delight to read! Abigail was running from someone in her past. She needed to get married, and change her name. She traveled to Willow Creek. It didn’t take her long for trouble to find her, and for her to find and meet Morgan the town sheriff. The romance between the two was sweet, and at times funny! There is so much I would like to tell you about this book that I enjoyed, but I don’t want to spoil the story for you. This is one you will just have to read! My first Willow Creek and it was fantastic. Can't wait to read the rest.Abigail Thornton arrives in Willow Creek to find herself a husband but he is a no-show at the Coach Station. She can't return home as she is hiding from her ex-lover. She heads to the Diamond Back Saloon and is mistaken as a whore. She slaps the man's face and starts a barroom brawl. Morgan Avery is Willow Creek Town Marshal. All Morgan wants to do is wash away the trail-dust and sleep, preferably with a soft, willing woman by his side. He doesn't get what he wants, instead he gets Abigail thrust at him and then punched. Morgan ends up putting Abigail in jail until she see commonsense but he will be waiting a long time for that.Morgan thinks Abigail is hiding something and he aims to find out, even if he has to bed her to do so. Will one night be enough for Morgan and Abigail? Could Abigail judgement get any worse? Can she survive Willow Creek? Can she find love and a husband?I would recommend this book.
