E allora eccomi al pensiero complessivo: sono stato un tiepido fan della serie fino a quando i tre protagonisti sono stati esiliati da Faerie. Tutto quello che è avvenuto in seguito, ad eccezione dell'adempimento del contratto tra Ash e Leanansidhe, non ha saputo catturare la mia viva attenzione. Ho trovato i primi due romanzi più ispirati e fiabeschi. Al momento non ho nemmeno finito The Iron Knight, cosa che magari farò in seguito, ma non so se continuerò con The Lost Prince. E' forse meglio dedicarsi a storie che interessano maggiormente. Really the only reason I picked up this book was because I saw the binding and I was like ooh, pretty! Then it turned out to be a pretty good book. Meghan us not my favorite though. I think she's incredibly brave and loyal to her family. And I appreciate how strong she is. She disappointed me,however. Why? Because she chose Ash. I still can't get over it. She should've just stayed in Faery with Puck where they could run around and play and have endless summer days. But no she chose Ash, when Puck had always been there. Always. He went to the End of the World for her. The End of the World. He knew full well that Meghan wouldn't be his in the end and yet he still went. Like what?! I mean, Ash gave up everything. He made an oath to be her knight, he got a soul, .he faced a gauntlet for Meghan. Like who faces gauntlets anymore? Nobody goes through harrowing journeys laden with danger all for the sake of love anymore. Ash is chivalrous and beautiful but I just love Puck more.
