*SPOILERS*After really enjoying this series, I was very disappointed with this final instalment. It's shorter than the other books and suffers from the lack of Sal and Adam. It's also just a bit dull compared to some of the others. I don't like Rashim's end, which was rather sudden and disappointingly unemotional. And I don't like the religious tones to it either. I feel really quite flat and let down now, which is not how I expected to feel after investing a lot of time and affection in the TimeRiders team over the last few years. I didn't hate the last book, and it did hold my attention all the way through... but just... overall, it's quite blah. The last and final book in the series.I read the book in one day. After 300 pages there was still no hint how the story would end and I was near the edge of diappointment. But the last 100 pages have been most satisfying. There is even the possibility to return to the main characters one day.Until then there is enough stuff to think about. What a great time travel series with a worthy final!!
