I whiz through the Time Rider books and then regret it as they are over too soon and the series finishes with the next book. There are now lots of questions to answer and loose ends to tie up and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next one this year. That being said, while I love the time travel elements I'm not so keen on the seekers/energy monster thing and the alien themes emerging. However I trust Alex Scarrow not to disappoint - he hasn't done so far! I almost gave this a three-star rating....but I realized that I really didn't like this one all that much, compared to the other books. I had like the small romance going on and some details of the plot, which I almost gave it a three for (I'm a sucker for romance haha), but nopeI hated how (WARNING, may contain SPOILERS, so don't read if you don't wanna know), Alex Scarrow totally ruined Sal. She was my least favorite character already and now...well, I just hate her. Then the whole, this planet is an experient bla bla blaCrazy minds forming a strange beast....It was just too crazy (for me) I just didn't enjoy as much....creative, but in a bad way (in my opinion)I still give it to him though, Alex Scarrow makes an interesting read....I was never boredAnd I'm still curious to know where he's taking this :)I'm still in love with Liam! haha
