hmmm, i feel guilty about reading books like these :-) i always feel like they're written for the mediocre housewife who's taking a break form cleaning the windows. (no offence) however, i had just finished a rather 'heavy' book , so i felt I deserved some easy literature and that it was. nothing special, but a fun summer read. good description of characters and of course, because we all want love to prevail, you sympathize. So no world literature, but a fun read! Cathy Kelly is good storyteller obviously, I enjoyed her descriptive well-written story, but I thought She was used too many words to describe situations/emotions of her character on these books and I got quite surprised that the main character this book(on my mind) isn't Tess Power but Mara and Danae. Mara and Danae's stories are better than Tess, I thought, it has the sad and the joy, while Tess' are mainly sad story.. I got bored on the middle of the book and feel a little exhausted with the details.. but the well written sentences and the secrets from each character (specially Danae's, Tess', Suki's, and Cashell's) still draw my attention and courage me to finish the book. And I'm quite relieved and happy when I finally finnished it.
