About book The Girl Who Remembered Snow (2003)

The title of this book caught my eye when I was at The Book Thing in Baltimore. Perhaps it's all the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo type books that made it stand out. I'd hoped for a little more of the magic the cover promised. The clues were interesting to follow, but not so transparent that important ones were not suspected. It was not a bad little book, though I would have liked a little more magic. I came away feeling sad rather than satisfied. I'm into happy endings of late, and as this one drew to a close, I could tell it would wrap up, but that I might not feel good.
