I'm surprised I gave this 3 stars, well, I guess I didn't. I ended up changing it to 2 stars…there were actual times I wanted to stick a fork in my eye. This was not something I would compare to 50 Shades…, at least in my book. There were many times I wanted to just give up, but I bought this is a trilogy package so I figured I needed to finish it. The twists and turns were not that big of a deal for me to keep me engrossed, and I honestly started to pass over all the sex scenes. They just became too many and not very inventive to continue to describe to the reader. I never found a connection with the main character, at least not to the point where I was routing for her. For $4, it gave me something to read over a weekend. I was really impressed with these books. I am not 100% sure how I got the trilogy (probably a link form FB and a promotional price on Amazon). The thing is that I got the trilogy and it sat there in my kindle for some weeks. When I finally decided to read it, I was expecting lots of smut and little story line. I have to say that I was VERY surprised and impressed. The Fixed trilogy has a beautiful story behind all the sex (really hot sex). Is unique, and with enough intrigue to keep you reading non stop.I was sad to see the last book end, even though we got our HEA, I still wanted more! I have to say that one of the things I enjoyed the most about this book, was that Alayna did NOT give in at the first sign of an apology from Hudson. I really like my heroines with a spine and Laynie was just the perfect example. She was real enough to have faults and "obsessions" but with a set of balls!I really enjoyed this trilogy!
