An intriguing start to an interesting series. Main character Lydia is a fairy doctor- she has the ability to see fairies and translate their actions and motives to humans, should humans choose to believe her. Her services are requested by Edgar, a lord claiming to be the descendant of the fairy lord, who seeks to take the fairy throne. Together, the embark on a journey searching for the Blue Sword, the key to the fairy throne. The drawing is lovely, and the plot is engaging, with subtle undertones of mystery and the supernatural to engage the reader. This was an okay manga. I was rather disappointed, because this is the first manga volume I BOUGHT. And I don't read much shojo manga, even though I like it.Yes, the art is nice, and there's the signature sugary romance and super-hot guys shojo manga is known for, but the plot didn't really hook me in. The characters are a bit confusing (as a few of them look alike) and the plot sounded a LITTLE like Bleach.
