About book The Devil & Sherlock Holmes: Tales Of Murder, Madness & Obsession (2010)

Overall this was an interesting collection of essays. I don't have much interest in real crime books these days, so it was neither here nor there for me. However, the reader was excellent and it held my interest throughout, so I would consider it worth reading if one does pursue non-fiction based on real crime. The highlight for me was the essay based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his super sleuth creation. Another re-read of another favorite, this is an amazing collection of non-fiction essays exploring a variety of fascinating and unique stories, including a Sherlock Holmes fanatic who dies a very mysterious death, a grown man who poses as a missing teenage boy (the subject of the amazing documentary The Imposter), and an author whose postmodern novel may contain clues to a murder he may have committed.

didn't do a thing for me ... quit before the first chapter done. Maybe I'll try again another time.
