I'm getting into steampunk and reading more and more of it lately. I picked up the first Clockwork Co. mainly because it was a familiar name and I like the writing style and content of previous books by this author. I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the second one as soon as it was available. This one was just as good. I love this series and am looking forward to reading any others that Ms Viehl writes in this genre. I despise love triangles, but The Clockwork Wolf is so inventive, engrossing and entertaining that I am trying to overlook the Kit/Dredmore/Doyle thing. However, Viehl made the triangle very hard to ignore in Clockwork Wolf. Toriana is an intriguing, well-built world that I hope will continue to surprise and thrill me. Kit continues to be a fascinating character as she struggles to be her own person and do the right thing in a society where wealth and gender determine one's life. I read one of her interactions with the Fourth several times because it was simply sweet. I will try to wait patiently for book #3 by reading Disenchanted and Wolf again in a few months.
Really enjoy this series! Can't wait for more of Kit and Dredmore.
