The famous Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Cupcake Trillin, and his wife Jancey have 2 cats, Elvis & Lucy. They are going to Italy on vacation and requested Dixie to cat sit for them while they are away.That's when Dixie walks into trouble aka Brianna. No sooner does Dixie enter Trillin's home than she is confronted with the world famous model, Brianna. It appears that Brianna has decided to go a bit further than stalking by breaking & entering his home. Dixie leaves to go outside and call for police assistance. she also calls cupcake to let him know his home has been broken into.But this is just the beginning of a world that Dixie wishes she never knew. A world of international swindlers, thieves and murderers.I so enjoy this wonderful series and look forward to each new installment. I've grown accustomed to Dixie, her brother Michael and his significant other Paco, along with the loving pets on her journey as a pet sitter.Highly recommended. A fun read, a tad silly, a bit convoluted (I like that!). Actually, the cat sitter takes care of any pet animal or bird. She scoots from house to house, usually while the pet owner is on vacation, but sometimes when the the owner either doesn't have the time, or the physical ability to tend to the animal. But it is two cats with vafationing owners that are at the scene of the crime - naturally a dead body. Definitely a "cozy" read, and I do like cozies.
