Between 3-3.5 stars:Whyyyy?! Why did you (to the author) write such a book?! If you had put some more I don't know "humiliation scenes'' between the alpha and her mate in front of the public and maybe some more you are my fated mate thingy and her rejecting the idea even if she liked it or more mystery on the search for the professor or the murder and more of the near non existant steamy scenes this book would have been one of my favorites but no you had to cut throught all of that and put this resumé of the book. So not a suprise when the book isn't well known or much liked. I was instantly nabbed by this novella because of the writing style, yet along the way there were things that just didn't fit. More then half way through you learn she's half witch when I clearly thought she was half human. That may just be my fault. Do all these creatures just mingle willingly? There wasn't enough paranormal activity going on. The BDSM scenes could have been kept out and it would have made no difference to the book. Clearly this is someone who hasn't experienced this and it shows. I liked this and will possibly read another from the author. A nice short read but still have some questions.
The story was short but sweet and the main character fun, There was just something missing for me.
