This is actually the book that helped me get over my book slump. Garrett and Marissa's interactions made me giggle out loud and caused my friends to think I'm a bit of a loon (which I secretly am). Honestly, I did not see any problem with this book since everything I look for is here. And god forbid I forget how I imagined Garrett wearing those kilts of his (kilts not skirts).Totally manly. and sexy.But the thing I actually liked about Emily Evan's stories is that she gives the readers a chance to live vicariously through the characters that have hit the jackpot of life in Hollywood or in high school. Even though things get a bit unrealistic at times, I still enjoy the lives and opportunities of her characters.Between her signature fantasies and hot male leads, I'm totally coming back for more If you read The Accidental Movie Star, then you'll recognize Marissa and Garret. I really liked this book. Marissa just rolled with things really well, and she had a great sense of humor. And Garret was totally swoon-worthy with his sexy accent. There was definitely a lot to laugh at throughout the book too. I see the potential for a couple other books with some side characters in this one too, so I will be on the look out!
