An interest blend of philosophy and anecdotes from Robert Greene and rapper/businessman/hustler 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson. Curtis Jackson has lead a really exceptional life and just being exposed to that was interesting. Tends to repeat itself a bit. Takes philosophy from zen buddhism and stoicism and probably a bunch of other popular philosophies I didn't recognize. Overall I felt empowered so there's that. Interesting read. Very repetitive at times. The book is structured in a very predictable and consistent manner. Each chapter starts with a key idea which is then reinforced with historical figures and 50 Cent. The book glances off these stories with vagueness and only extracts from them evidence that supports the key idea being presented. The 50th Law is decent reading material that touches on topics such as persistence in times of monotony and embracing one's mortality.
