Okay upon seeing this book I HAD to read it! If you can get past all the street language in this book, I think it is a really good story about bullying. I think that junior high boys especially could relate to this story and enjoy the book. Just remember, I warned you about the language. I think the author, 50 Cent, does a good job telling this story. If nothing else, I think that it could be motivating for kids to see him as a writer!! It served as a good reminder to me that sometimes kids just need someone to listen to them about all the things going on in their lives. They don't always need our best advice, which is why I loved Liz, the counselor, from this book! It's a story about a boy called butterball. He goes through bulling being bullied & the bullyer. Kids call him fatass. What happends in the book is the closes things to real life. I think it's the best book I've read yet. It shows what kids go through in school and home. The book overall is great. It explains real life situations. Some people don't even know what's going on. The thing that showed what butterball was feeling. The fact that it was written by Curtis "50 cent" Jackson made it a whole different experience. Just to know its a famouse person you admire because no one knows most of the authors. Butterball gets bullied. They pick on him and call him fatass. The sad thing is his father like when he steals the shoes for him and leaves him. Also his dad said "you should seen yo fatass running"
