I would like to thank the author and publisher for this book that I won in the Goodreads First Reads contest. I am sure this book has an audience of devoted fans. I am not one. It is a very explicitly sexual book with physically perfect people who pretend at having issues but have a lifestyle that you see in the movies. Not much of a story, which was secondary in nature to all the sex, anyway.This book was along the lines of Fifty Shades but without the character development and the S and M. It was a tough read for me. For the type of book it is, it is true to expectations. I am sure others who appreciate this kind of read will enjoy it. That is why I generously rated it 2 stars. I just finished this book and seriously WHOA! This chick can write. I read a lot of sports romance, and area pieces. This is the first time I have found one book that included to of my favorites so well. I wasn't overwhelmed with cheesy hawaiian references. I wasn't forced to try and interpret little known MMA phrases and such. I was given exactly what I wanted: a sexy fling, in a out of this world setting, respectful of the culture in which its based. Of all the books based in Hawaii, this is one of the few that made me homesick. Though I loved the sports side of this book, it was the glimpses of home that makes me want to read this again, right now. #LovedIt
