I enjoyed reading this. It's very entertaining, easy and quick to read. I like the story. ( I sometimes have trouble finding books that are just fun to read, but aren't just total romance.). The characters are well-defined. Yes, I guess it might be a bit predictable, but it has enough suspense that I don't want to put it down. This is the second night in a row I've stayed up way too late reading one of this author's books to the end. Benfu and Calla Lily are raising the six adopted daughters as their family, when there is a clue that their biological daughter may be living. Following their clues they reunited with Li Jin who has a son of her own. Li Jin has survived for thirty years at the mercy of foster families and a bleak orphanage. Though not knowing of her true family for all of there years, she reunites with them and attempts to build a life with them.
Book #2 was a wonderful read! I cant wait for book #3!

Story is good. Dialogue is unrealistic.
