First of all i LOVED the bookReally well named sweet as sin and it isIt is so sweet so well written so beautiful so amazing so great events so very good characters i felt like reading 2 books in one because of the monsters book which i totally adored and totally loved the idea how he has so many parts of hos soul the good the taunted the angry guy all of them and how she could control all of them with her tenderness i just loved it Amazing simple as that 4.75 stars. Well, I thought I'd read on a review this was a fun book. Fun is definitely NOT an adjective I would ever use for this book. What it is, however, is a pretty amazing story. And then there's a story within the story as John, the hero, is a writer. At first I felt that the inner story was kind of odd and almost skimmed through them. I'm glad I didn't; I began to care about his fictional characters almost as much as I cared about the main characters in the book. This is not a light, fun read. This book deals with the fall-out of years of abuse as a child and how that aftermath can rule your life. But although I'm sure that sounds like a downer, it's really not at all. It's a serious book. But within it there's tremendous healing and also joy. There are fun, very playful scenes (and a couple very hot ones as well), and they were all very enjoyable to read. But I guess the bottom line is that is simply an excellent book!
