I had to think about this book once I finished it before leaving a review. I don't mind a racy book, but this one is triple x sexy. That doesn't bother me as long as the story can back up the sex. The book was an easy read, but sometimes it was more shock factor than a real plot. It was enough to keep my attention but I've gone back and forth on hating it and loving it. This was more a 3.5 rating. If you are brutally prudish, do not read this book. It is very intensely graphic several times and it crosses the line of being degrading. If you are open and like good sexy book, give it a try. It makes 50 Shades pale in hotness. Lindsay has a moniker from the press - "The Iron Hand" no kidding. She was kidnapped with her sister Taylor and smacked the kidnapper across the face, pushing her head into a hook and killing her. Right away I realized there is some humor here. Lindsay has a running commentary that is quite humorous. If she was more believable as a character, I would have rated this higher. She is desperate for a job and interviews with a media mogul, Michael Hawkins. He is gorgeous and she is nearly drooling, until he tells her he is gay and wants her as pretend girl fiend. A downer except she will be paid an immense amount of money and a luxury car of her choice to keep. What a decision. The terms are OK - she would actually be working for his company in her field - but one restriction is no outside dating or sex with anyone during the term of the contract. That concerns her enough to talk about it, and Michael arranges for her to have a free membership at Pleasure Extraordinaire - where men are available for a fee to satisfy women. The complication is that one of the men who expresses interest (anonymous for both) turns out to be her new employer's son, Zane. I am torn about reading more of these, and do have some curiosity how this will turn out, but not willing to spend much money to find out. A conundrum.
