I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.As I had already read Strip me Bare I was so looking forward to reading this prequal, and let me tell you it didn't disappoint. This book is told from Ryan's pov and it was lovely to see how much love he felt for Alana from the very first moment they meet. Ryan's problem is that he always wants to do right by everyone even if this means going to prison for something he hasn't done and losing the love of his life through no fault of his own except for wanting to be the best brother and son he can be. Years later when Ryan is released will he find Alana and will they get their HEA.I loved this book and will definitely be looking out for more from Marissa Carmel in the future I received this book in exchange for an honest review and this is only the easiest reviews I've done in a while.I went into this book without having read Strip Me Bare (Stripped #1) and I kind of find that I prefer that, I don't generally like to go back and read about the past once I'm in the present, weird glitch of mine.I found Marissa Carmel's story very intriguing and somewhat truly heart breaking. Ryan Pierce* Hottie with the Body* Ideal perfect romance novel boyfriend material* Devoted and loyal to a fault* Absolutely swoon-worthyAlana Remington* She's the girl next door type that you just can't help but fall in love with.* She comes from a broken home that i wish we had been provided more detail into.* She's quiet and simple.I adore these two and was so sad to find out why their love story was cut short. I commend Ryan for doing what he did (even though there comes a time when you just have to accept family will never be what you need them to be and just simply cut your losses), however I find what he did and his actions to be extremely commendable. I loved him, literally fell head over stripper pole in love with this character Marissa so elequently created. He's got his faults, but they are minor faults and I find that no matter his actions in this book I just simply cheered him on, hoping for him to find his way back to Alana....hence the cliffhanger tag....to be continued in Strip Me Bare. I for one cannot wait to find out what happens with Ryan and Alana. I surely hope there is much more to their love story and find Marissa Carmel's work thus far to be brilliant.
