Spoilers...stop reading now if you haven't read the book. I really wanted to like this book but the character Ryan just really bothered me. The original concept was good but the whole being in jail for 3 years and then being out and stripping for a whole year while sleeping with girl after girl...umm seriously?! What girl would just take a guy back like that?? He didn't even go looking for her and if he really loved her, you would think that would be the first thing on his mind. Instead, he picks up stripping and sleeps around. I honestly couldn't get over this fact and the fact Alana was just okay with it made absolutely no sense to me. Then, after he gets her back, she finds him walking out of the beaded section where it's clear naughty stuff happens, and instead of walking out on him she walks in the room with him after he was just in there with another girl! Umm hello?! That girl was just macking on his cheek and now you are?! Gross! I just...wow...what a disappointment. I did love her BFF and her uncle. Great characters. I just wish Ryan wouldn't have been a complete man whore...but I guess that is reality as so many guys act the same way when they are separated from the love of their life. the stroy was very confused, the lead character insisted she had no problems with him being a stripper yet at every turn she and he tried to hide it?! I like the premise but thought the actually plot was poorly executedEsp the ending, not to put in any spoilers, but the guy was insisting its a means to an end and then he goes on to accept the job offer?!!Also found the whole plot quite predictable with the police.Writing is good but the story and characters just felt confused
