4 STARS Warning! The editing was poor, mostly punctuation, but I was able to let it go and be a part of this crazy journey.I found Jess to be a breath of fresh air. She had an individual place in her world, but didn't know how true that was until she lost her Mother, found her Aunt and a legacy that no one had ever told her about. There are all kinds of surprises in this story and I cannot wait to move on into the next book. A step forward toward so many new adventures. As an avid reader of the paranormal genre I loved this book, right up to the glaring plot hole that had me banging my head on the table. I found myself struggling to decide whether to cast the book aside or ignore it and carry on reading. It's a testament to the authors ability to say that ultimately I finished, and most importantly, enjoyed the book (once I had accepted the plot problem that is).After reading other reviews I'm left wondering why no-one else was bothered by it, maybe I'm just too picky about my characters jumping to illogical conclusions.
