I loved Walker and Charlie's story. It was full of twists, very hot sex, a great friendship, and fun secondary characters. A few of the issues readers had with this book weren't relevant to me. I felt that Dahl clearly explained Charlie's motivation for taking her job, keeping Walker at a distance, and it was made really clear Walker didn't want to be theguy who slept with his bosses wife (and he acknowledges fooling around with her was stupid!) Lovely story, I can't see my to dislike anything this author writes. The book has it's highs and lows. Charlie...is a woman up who works in security, having been framed for embezzlement before she heads home to the only job offer she can get. Walker is a guy she knew in high school and decides to get involved with him. His story is that his father was abusive so he always see's hisself as not good enough, and at some point dumb because he is dyslexic. She tries to build Walker up and things backfire. I was truly engrossed in this story, and it was a regular romance. Thanks netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review.
Do You like book So Tough To Tame (2013)?
Better than the other one I read, even aside from not being as short.
